maintenance OF
SINKS

Most Reginox sinks are manufactured from stainless steel. By purchasing a Reginox sink you have chosen a high-quality, sustainable product. We recommend you read the user manual and learn how to care for your Reginox sink.

With normal use and careful maintenance your sink can be enjoyed for years to come. We have suitable cleaning products designed specifically for our stainless steel sinks to properly maintain and clean your product. We can also provide you with the right cleaning products for daily maintenance.

DAILY
CLEANING OF
STAINLESS STEEL SINK

Rinse the sink thoroughly after use and dry it with a clean, soft cloth to remove water stains, etc. Clean water is sufficient for daily maintenance; a mild detergent (washing up liquid) may be added if necessary. Do not use abrasive materials such as steel wool, scouring pads or a sharp brush, as these products can damage the surface of stainless steel.

MINIMISE
DAMAGE

Scratches and/or dents

Sinks are an integral part of the kitchen, used multiple times daily and some general wear and tear such as light scratches and dents are unavoidable. As with any material, when handled too roughly or without care sinks can be damaged, sometimes past repair. Therefore, it is important care should be taken when placing object in the bowl or on the drainer. Use of accessories and regular maintenance can help limit damage exposure to sink.

Keeping clean a
PVD, Granite
or Ceramic sink

Rinse the sinks thoroughly after use and dry it with a clean, soft cloth to remove water stains, etc. Clean water is sufficient for daily maintenance; a mild detergent (washing up liquid) may be added if necessary. To maintain your Reginox sink, we recommend regular use (once a week) of Reginox maintenance products.

Avoid and prevent cooking oil, toothpaste, dishwater tablets, paint, any abrasive chemicals or cleaning products, including but not limited to; disinfectant, bleach and drain un-blockers, coming into contact with your sink. Exposure to chemicals, acid or food residues and sharp objects can damage the coating/layers of your PVD, stainless steel or ceramic sinks. Should your sink come into contact with any of these substances, remove the immediately using clean lukewarm water following with use of a Reginox maintenance product.

AVOID
HEAT

Do not place any hot items, such as pans or mugs directly on the surface of your sink bowl or drainer. Preferably use a bottom grid, wire basket or crockery drainer with your sink.

We recommend

  • Always use a cutting board, avoid cutting directly on the sinks surface as this will lead to permanent scratches. Damage can be minimised by avoiding scraping, scratching or sliding items over the sinks surface.
  • Never cut into the joint and/or connecting seams.
  • Never remove the sealant around the sink unit.
  • We recommend regular use of Reginox Inox Care for maintaining your Reginox sink unit.
