USE &
maintenance OF
SINKS

Most Reginox sinks are manufactured from stainless steel. By purchasing a Reginox sink you have chosen a high-quality, sustainable product. We recommend you read the user manual and learn how to care for your Reginox sink.

With normal use and careful maintenance your sink can be enjoyed for years to come. We have suitable cleaning products designed specifically for our stainless steel sinks to properly maintain and clean your product. We can also provide you with the right cleaning products for daily maintenance.

DAILY
CLEANING OF
STAINLESS STEEL SINK

Rinse the sink thoroughly after use and dry it with a clean, soft cloth to remove water stains, etc. Clean water is sufficient for daily maintenance; a mild detergent (washing up liquid) may be added if necessary. Do not use abrasive materials such as steel wool, scouring pads or a sharp brush, as these products can damage the surface of stainless steel.

PREVENT
DAMAGE

Scratches and/or dents

Because the sink is used daily, light scratches and dents on the surface are unavoidable. The sink can be damaged if it is handled too roughly. Therefore care should be taken when placing objects in the pan or on the drainer. In addition, damage is limited by sanding the material as little as possible with objects.

Keeping clean a
PVD-, Granite
or Ceramic sink

Rinse the sink thoroughly after use and dry it with a clean, soft cloth to remove water stains, etc. Clean water is sufficient for daily maintenance; a mild detergent (washing up liquid) may be added if necessary. To maintain your Reginox sink properly, we recommend regular useage of Reginox maintenance products; Regi-clean Descaler and Regi-clean Oil-coating. Clean your sink once a week with these agents.

Avoid and prevent cooking oil, toothpaste, dishwasher tablets, paint, declogger liquid or other chemical materials in your sink. Exposure to chemicals, acids, food residues and rusty objects can damage the coating of steel and ceramic sinks or the layers of PV and granite sinks. Should your sink come into contact with any of these agents, remove them immediately and clean the sink intensively with lukewarm water.

AVOID
HEAT

Do not place any hot items, such as pans or mugs directly on the surface of your sink bowl or drainer. Preferably use a bottom grid, wire basket or crockery drainer with your sink.

We recommend

  • Always use a cutting board, avoid cutting directly on the sinks surface as this will lead to permanent scratches. Damange can be minimised by avoiding scraping, scratching or sliding items over the sinks surface.
  • Never cut into the joint and/or connecting seams. Never remove the sealant around the sink unit.
  • We recommend regular use of Reginox Inox Care for maintaining your Reginox sink unit.
